One of the youngest New England candidates seeking office in Washington has won her bid for the Republican nomination for a U.S. House seat representing New Hampshire.
Karoline Leavitt defeated all five candidates including lead contender Matt Mowers, a Donald Trump endorsee, for the Republican nomination.
The Gen-Zer will now take on ultra-liberal Democrat Chris Pappas in November in hopes of taking over his District 1 seat.
She joins 25-year-old Florida Republican Calvin Wimbish, who is running for a U.S. House seat in Florida, as the two youngest candidates running for U.S. Congress.
On Sept. 14, Trump wrote: “Amazing job by Karoline Leavitt in her great New Hampshire victory. Against all odds, she did it—and will have an even greater victory on Nov. 8. Wonderful energy and wisdom!!!”…
