U.S. Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen said she spent 10 hours talking to Chinese officials during her four-day trip, and her effort has now moved China-U.S. ties closer to a “surer footing.”
Ms. Yellen wrapped up her trip on Sunday after holding talks with several senior Chinese Communist Party (CCP) officials, including Premier Li Qiang, Vice Premier He Lifeng, China’s central bank governor Yi Gang and party secretary Pan Gongsheng, and former Chinese Vice Premier Liu He.
