SUN VALLEY, Calif.—Traffic detectives April 9 asked the public for help locating the driver of an older model pickup truck believed responsible for the death of a pedestrian in Sun Valley.
The fatal accident occurred just before 8:30 p.m. on Thursday on Laurel Canyon Boulevard and Keswick Street, according to a Los Angeles Police Department press release.
The older model two-tone blue Toyota or Nissan pickup truck was southbound on Laurel Canyon Boulevard when the driver ran the red light and hit the 55-year-old woman, who was walking inside a marked crosswalk, police said.
