Victoria C. White, the Minnesota woman who suffered an alleged beating by District of Columbia police in the West Terrace tunnel at the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, has filed a federal lawsuit alleging assault, battery, and excessive use of force. Filed in U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia, the lawsuit initially seeks $1 million in damages.
