The Vatican will require visitors and personnel to be in possession of a “Green Pass” or foreign health certificate as proof of vaccination from the CCP virus starting next month. A decree issued on Sept. 18 says Vatican City State residents and workers, along with people visiting the Roman city-state, are required to carry the “Green Pass” in order to be granted entry. The new vaccine requirement will go into effect starting on Oct. 1. An exception will be made for those attending liturgical celebrations, although only “for the time strictly necessary for the performance of the rite.” People will also be able to enter if they show a negative molecular or antigenic test for the SARS-COV-2 virus, commonly referred to as the novel coronavirus.
