NASA’s Moon exploration dry spell is coming to an end on Aug. 29, as for the first time in almost 50 years, NASA is brushing off the Moon dust and going back to Earth’s nearest celestial body.
Artemis 1 is unmanned, but it’s a big step toward getting astronauts back on the Moon’s surface as it’s the first in a series of increasingly complex missions designed to prove that manned, deep-space exploration is possible.
