Millions of unemployed Americans will probably not miss benefits, the Department of Labor said Tuesday. Two key programs, the Pandemic Unemployment Assistance and Pandemic Emergency Unemployment Compensation, lapsed on Saturday after President Donald Trump failed to sign the $900 billion COVID-19 relief package that included extensions for the programs.
