Meat processing giant Tyson Foods said it would require COVID-19 vaccines for all its 120,000 U.S. workers, aiming for total vaccination by Nov. 1. Tyson Chief Executive Donnie King said that the effort is the best way to protect the health of the company’s workforce amid new strains of COVID-19. “We did not take this decision lightly,” he said in a memo obtained by The Epoch Times. “We have spent months encouraging our team members to get vaccinated—today, under half of our team members are.” The company had to take this step “because nothing is more important than our team members’ health and safety, and we thank them for the work they do, every day, to help us feed this country, and our world,” King added.
