Former President Donald Trump on Tuesday endorsed South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem in her reelection bid. In a statement, Trump spoke highly of Noem’s character, policies, and performance. “Kristi Noem has done a great job as Governor of South Dakota,” Trump said. “She is strong on Borders, the Second Amendment, preserving land and Energy Dominance, Medical Freedom, and kept South Dakota open during COVID.” He added, “She fully supports our great Law Enforcement, Military, our wonderful Vets—and is a fighter for the incredible people of South Dakota. Kristi has my Complete and Total Endorsement!” Noem, who has served as South Dakota governor since Jan. 8, 2019, is up for reelection this year.
