A suspect accused of sexual assault against a resident of a women’s shelter in Ontario has surrendered to police.
Windsor Police Service said the alleged sexual assault took place at a Windsor women’s shelter on April 4. A female victim contacted police and reported that she had been sexually assaulted by a male identifying as female.
The suspect, who police identified as Desiree Anderson, 32, also known as Cody D’Entremont, allegedly climbed into bed with the victim at the shelter and sexually assaulted her.
According to a news release on April 18, the suspect was described as 5’7″ tall, 141 pounds, with brown eyes and brown hair. Police circulated a photo of the suspect, who was pictured with long brown hair and bleached blond ends, at approximately 2:30 p.m. local time on April 18….
