DALLAS, Texas—Distance matters less when the goal is worth it. Many audience members are willing to travel long distances to experience Shen Yun Performing Arts.
“We’re from Montana, so we flew down to see it tonight,” said Nathan Garber, who works in real estate.
Shen Yun is based in New York and is dedicated to presenting a true China before communism using classical Chinese dance and music.
“I love to see other cultures and understand where people come from. Sometimes, in America today, we can lose sight of who the Chinese people are, because we see what the Chinese government does that we don’t appreciate. And so it helps to differentiate that the Chinese people are not the Chinese government as such. And so that was very helpful to me,” said Mr. Garber….
