Texas broke its all-time record for total job gains last month, with the fastest annual jobs growth rate in the United States.
Job gains in the state accelerated non-stop over a 12-month period between October 2021 and October 2022, to 5.4 percent, according to new data from the Texas Workforce Commission and the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics.
Meanwhile, Texan employers alone added 49,500 jobs in the non-farm job sector in October, with the total number of jobs at 13,630,000.
