Greg Abbott demanded that President Joe Biden’s administration return border property that was seized by the federal government for building a wall to his state, coming as the governor announced plans to construct a Texas-backed border barrier. “I write now to demand that you immediately return to Texans any land taken by the federal government but not used for building a border wall,” Abbott, a Republican, wrote to Biden in his letter dated Wednesday.
