UK’s Supermarket giant Tesco on Saturday briefly closed one of its branches in Greater Manchester after a staff member passed away amid a CCP virus outbreak. Customers of Tesco’s Stretford branch on Chester Road found their local store closed on Saturday morning. The supermarket chain had confirmed on Friday that a “number of colleagues” at the branch were off work due to “self-isolation, test and trace, or COVID-19.” It also confirmed that one staff member had passed away, without confirming the cause of death “out of respect for the employee’s family.” The store has now reopened after a few hours of closure.
