PHILADELPHIA—After five years of wanting to see Shen Yun Performing Arts, Rick Jensen, WDEL talk show host, and his wife Laurie traveled from Wilmington, Delaware, to attend the matinee performance at the Philadelphia Academy of Music on June 11.
Delighted by the artistry and message, Mr. Jensen said, “It is a once-in-a-lifetime experience—awesome!”
New York-based Shen Yun is the world’s premier classical Chinese dance company. Accompanied by a one-of-a-kind orchestra that blends traditional Chinese instruments with a classical Western orchestra, Shen Yun depicts story-based pieces that tell tales from ancient times to the modern-day.
