The day after Elon Musk’s recent $44 billion acquisition of Twitter, many conservatives returned to the platform as the tech billionaire promised to protect the right to free speech.
Conservative media personalities like Tucker Carlson, Mark Levin, Raheem Kassam, and others are returning to Twitter after previously being suspended.
Tesla CEO Elon Musk secured the deal with the social media company on April 25. In doing so, the self-described “free-speech absolutist” triggered a backlash from radical progressive activists over the role of social media platforms in regulating the flow of information. Musk wants a relaxation of Twitter’s content restrictions and a platform free from content moderation.
