Commentary You’ve probably heard by now that there are a bunch of billionaires and elites (but I repeat myself) advocating for a global movement called the “Great Reset.” Prime Minister Justin Trudeau poetically dreams of revamping entire economic systems, to “actually address global challenges like extreme poverty, inequality, and climate change.” But how will that happen if we dismantle the greatest system for combatting inequality ever invented? Or destroy our greatest manner of preserving our environment (wealth)? California Gov. Gavin Newsom, between mandating the abject destruction of small businesses (but hypocritically exempting Hollywood’s production facilities) and demanding extreme social distancing with permanent face coverings while defiantly partying with friends (all bare-faced and huggy-kissy) at posh restaurants, also spoke excitedly about this reset.
