Multiple people have been injured in an active shooting in downtown Atlanta, authorities in Georgia said on May 3.
The Atlanta Police Department said it was investigating an active shooter around 1110 West Peachtree Street Northwest, the site of a hospital.
“We are aware of multiple people injured. No suspect is in custody,” police officials said. “Anyone in the area is asked to secure their building and shelter in place. Anyone not in the area is asked to stay away.”
Photographs and video footage from the scene showed dozens of law enforcement officers outside the building.
Authorities said they’re aware of four shooting victims. Three were rushed to a hospital while the fourth has died….
