SAN SEBASTIAN, Spain—Muriel Larrea Laso, Member of the Basque Parliament for the Popular Party and president of the Popular Party of Gipuzkoa, is a fan of Shen Yun.
“I am a regular at these shows, I came last year, I am passionate about everything that is Chinese culture,” said Ms. Laso after attending opening night of Shen Yun Performing Arts at the Auditorio Kursaal in San Sebastian, Spain, on Jan. 31.
She continued, “Especially since I have known the Chinese culture from the historical point of view of what religion is, how it has been banned by communism, and how there is this difficulty in China to express their religion freely. I strongly believe in individual freedom, and I think what is happening is inconceivable.”…
