MIAOLI, Taiwan—On Feb. 25, 2023, Shen Yun Performing Arts performed in Miaoli, Taiwan, attracting local, political, and business elites, including former Miaoli County Mayor Liu Cheng-hung and legislator Chen Chao-ming. The audience appreciated that New York-based Shen Yun “promotes peace” and “inspires human thinking.”
Miaoli is a large Hakka county located in the north. Shen Yun attracted theatergoers far and wide, including people from Vietnam.
“The performance was done very well!” said former mayor of Miaoli County, Liu Cheng-hung who attended the performance with his wife. The couple complimented the dancers as well as “the performance’s promotion of peace.” He added that he hopes everyone will strive for peace. Mr. Liu also recommended that people experience Shen Yun and that one day, people on both sides of the Taiwan strait can live in peace together….
