PORTLAND, Ore.—The audience loved Shen Yun Performing Arts at the Keller Auditorium on March 19. Craig Hanley, a computer scientist, and Sheryl Kingston, who works as a receptionist in a carpet store, enjoyed the performance. Hanley, who had been waiting two years to see the performance because of the lockdowns, liked that Shen Yun took a stand against communism. Shen Yun Performing Arts is based in New York and was formed by artists escaping from communist-run China to form a music and dance company. It brings to the world a taste of what Chinese traditional culture was like before communism took over and destroyed it.
