At the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, U.S. Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin and Secretary of Veterans Affairs Denis Richard McDonough will give a keynote speech at 1 p.m. ET on Nov. 11 to celebrate the service of those who dedicated their lives to the U.S. military past and present.
Friday, Nov. 11 marks the 40th anniversary of the dedication of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial. It bears the names of more than 58,000 Americans who died in the war.
