Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) said on Feb. 3 that he and Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) have finally reached an agreement on a power-sharing resolution in an evenly split chamber. The move allows Democrats to take control of committees, since the Senate has an even partisan split of 50-50 with Vice President Kamala Harris able to break ties. “I am happy to report this morning that the leadership of both parties have finalized the organizing resolution for the Senate.
