Schools must be impartial and there is “no space” for them to be showing or pushing political views, Education Secretary Gavin Williamson has said. Williamson was asked about the use of the term “white privilege” and whether the Department for Education (DfE) could intervene and tell a school it was not an appropriate term to be promoted or, if it was, that it should be done in an impartial way.
