Before and after satellite images showing sites in Kentucky before and after a monstrous tornado ripped across the middle of the U.S. have been released by Maxar, a satellite imaging company. The imagery shows the destruction of the Mayfield Consumer Products candle factory where more than 100 people were reportedly working when the tornado struck. Extensive damage can also be seen across the city with homes, buildings and property barely recognizable. In Kentucky alone, 22 were confirmed dead by Saturday afternoon, including 11 in and around Bowling Green. But Gov. Andy Beshear said upwards of 70 may have been killed when a twister touched down for more than 200 miles (320 kilometers) in his state and that the number of deaths could eventually exceed 100 across 10 or more counties.
