Authorities in one of the largest cities in California are planning to soon mandate COVID-19 vaccination for children as young as 5. Health orders for San Francisco imposed in August require proof of COVID-19 vaccination to enter restaurants, gyms, and other establishments. The orders only apply to people 12 and older.
