Top Republicans in the U.S. House of Representatives are seeking interviews with a slew of federal officials involved with an investigation into President Joe Biden’s son.
Republicans are demanding to speak to U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) official Lesley Wolf, accused of alerting Hunter Biden’s attorneys that investigators knew of a storage unit he had; U.S. Attorney David Weiss, said to have been blocked from bringing charges against the president’s son in multiple jurisdictions; and Mark Daly, an IRS investigator who allegedly conveyed that higher-ups did not want to charge Hunter Biden.
The DOJ employees can help shed light on allegations that the DOJ’s probe was intentionally slow-walked and interfered with, Reps. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio), Jason Smith (R-Mo.), and James Comer (R-Ky.) said in a June 29 letter to Attorney General Merrick Garland….
