President Joe Biden’s nominee for commerce secretary should commit to keeping China-based Huawei on a blacklist that blocks it from some activities in the United States, Rep. Mark Green (R-Tenn.) said Friday. Green and other House Republicans recently urged the Senate to delay Gina Raimondo’s nomination because she refused to say Huawei would remain on the Department of Commerce’s Entity List, where it and 68 affiliates were placed during the Trump administration because of national security concerns.
