Rep. Fred Upton (R-Mich.), one of a minority of Republicans in the House of Representatives who voted last year to impeach then-President Donald Trump, said Sunday he’s not sure if he’ll run for another term. “We don’t know what our districts look like yet,” Upton said on CNN’s “State of the Union.” “We’re in the midst of looking at maps. Michigan loses a seat. We will evaluate everything probably before the end of the year in terms of making our own decision. We have never made a decision more than a year out,” he added. Michigan’s redistricting commission last week finalized a draft map that would shift congressional districts. The commission, which includes four Democrats, five Republicans, and five nonaffiliated members, plans to hold public hearings on the proposed redistricting plan.
