OTTAWA–Trucks are still camped in Ottawa on Monday Jan. 31 as truckers and supporters continue their protest against COVID-19 mandates in the nation’s capital. Crowds have started to gather on Parliament Hill, with similar size to the protest on Sunday Jan. 30. Trucks and other vehicles are also continuing to honk to show their protest. There is more police presence compared to the previous two days, as Parliament resumes following a six-week break. Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced on Jan. 31 that he had contracted COVID-19 and will be in self-isolation.
