Just ask Democrat city officials in Portland, Maine, struggling to provide social services to a flood of asylum seekers and illegal immigrants from all over the world.
Meanwhile, Maine’s Republican Party is working to help a group of recent arrivals that are largely being ignored—legal immigrants.
To accomplish their mission Maine Republicans, led by chairwoman Demi Kouzounas, recently opened the Maine GOP Multicultural Community Center near Portland’s downtown.
