A majority of Democrats believe presidential candidate Joe Biden was legitimately elected president while only a small percentage of Republicans feel the same way, according to data from a USA Today/Suffolk University poll released on Thursday. The survey—based on live phone interviews of 1,000 registered voters across the country—found 96 percent of Democrats believe Joe Biden was fairly elected. Only 20 percent of Republicans felt the same. According to the data, 78 percent of Republicans said they believed Biden was not legitimately elected president.
