Police have started arresting protesters for attempting to cause a blockade at a major Ontario border crossing connecting Windsor to Detroit, as the Canada–U.S. crossing remains closed on Feb. 13. Police said on Feb. 12 that a 27-year-old male was arrested “for a criminal offence in relation to the demonstration” at the Ambassador Bridge, which accounts for hundreds of dollars worth of trade between Canada and the United States each day.
