Police arrested a 35-year-old convicted felon Dec. 29 after he allegedly kidnapped an 18-year-old woman at gunpoint from a hotel in Santa Ana, California. Santa Ana Police Department detectives tracked down the suspect—using hotel surveillance footage and witness descriptions—to his residence in Victorville. “They staked his residence out and then when he left, they pulled him over,” Cpl. Anthony Bertagna told The Epoch Times. The suspect, Adrian Marcellus Alloway, was taken into custody without incident—but during the arrest, police located a semi-automatic handgun in his possession. Alloway allegedly kidnapped the victim on Dec. 21 from the La Quinta Inn & Suites, a Wyndham hotel located three miles from Orange County’s John Wayne Airport at 2721 Hotel Terrace, after meeting the victim on the internet. “They met on social media and agreed to meet somewhere,” Bertagna said.
