Jake Guentzel scored off a two-on-one with Sidney Crosby 33 seconds into overtime Monday, Jan. 16, to give the Pittsburgh Penguins a 4–3 win over the visiting Anaheim Ducks.
That came after the Penguins, who snapped a two-game losing streak, tied it on a goal by Bryan Rust with 24.8 seconds left in regulation.
Jason Zucker and Evgeni Malkin each added a goal and an assist, and Rickard Rakell, playing against his former club for the first time, had three assists for the Penguins, who had lost eight of 10.
Pittsburgh goaltender Casey DeSmith made 26 saves.
Adam Henrique, John Klingberg and Trevor Zegras scored for the Ducks, who have lost four in a row and six of eight, and were kicking off a six-game road trip….
