Nadia Chung was crowned as the 103rd Rose Queen at the Pasadena Tournament of Roses Oct. 26 in Pasadena, California. Chung is a senior at La Cañada high school and is currently working as a journalist at the Los Angeles Times in the High School Insider division. In school, Chung has actively participated in various extracurriculars. She is an organizer for free debate workshops, president of the Mock Trial Team and speech and debate team. She is also a member of the MD Junior Chapter, a club that encourages the growth of young, aspiring doctors through selfless service. During the ceremony, Chung expressed her gratitude to her teachers and classmates for supporting and guiding her through the entire selection process.
