A pair of Orange County women vying for the love of ABC’s latest bachelor didn’t find it on the popular TV series. Newport Beach social worker Cassandra Suarez and Costa Mesa student Amber Andrews were cast in Season 25 of The Bachelor, but eliminated during the first episode. They were among 32 women participating in the show. All hoped to walk away with the bachelor, Matt James, who was a wide-receiver for Wake Forest University from 2011-2014. He is now an associate with a commercial real estate and investment firm. He also founded ABC Food Tours, a nonprofit that takes children from underserved elementary schools to restaurants in their local communities.
