Abby Johnson, a former Planned Parenthood clinic director and now pro-life activist, said she is cautiously optimistic that the leaked Supreme Court decision will be upheld and Roe v. Wade will be overturned, giving the states back their power to decide abortion laws.
The leaked Supreme Court draft ruling shows the majority of justices in favor of overturning the landmark abortion ruling, Roe v. Wade, and has sparked protests in and around the Supreme Court. “I think that there’s, of course, a lot of optimism right now, because of the [leaked] draft opinion … but also a feeling of a little worry,” Johnson told the host of NTD’s Capitol Report last week.
