An Ontario father has stopped a man from stealing his vehicle from the driveway of his home while his infant child was still in the backseat.
The would-be theft took place in Brampton, near Chinguacousy Road and Queen Street Weston, on April 10 at around 12:30 p.m., according to Peel Regional Police.
Gilbourne Cusi, 38, put his baby inside the white SUV before heading back to the house to fetch his other child.
A video taken from the family’s home security camera captured the next moments when a dark-coloured car sped down the road and a man, dressed in black and wearing a mask, got out from the passenger’s seat and jogged up to the SUV while Cusi was still in the house.
