Police were called to the scene of a shooting Monday afternoon at a high school in Toronto’s East End, which has left one male killed and a teenager injured with life-threatening injuries.
The shooting occurred outside Woburn Collegiate Institute in Scarborough. The injured male teenager was transported to a trauma centre by ambulance with life-threatening injuries, according to the Toronto Police via Twitter.
At 3:22 p.m. local time, police received reports that shots were fired near the intersection of Ellesmere Road and Markham Road. Toronto Police posted on Twitter, “One person, a male, has been pronounced deceased at hospital.”
