Rep. Devin Nunes (R-Calif.) officially put forward his long-anticipated resignation on Monday after he announced his intention in December to help lead former President Donald Trump’s new media platform. The next step in Nunes’s career will be as the CEO of Trump Media and Technology Group (TMTG), an organization founded by Trump in February 2021 with the goal of competing with established social media platforms and mainstream media outlets.
