Industrial action, which began last week and continues into this week, will impact Sydney bus and New South Wales (NSW) train services. The Transport Workers Union (TWU) and the Rail, Tram and Bus Union (RTBU) have notified Transit Systems that their members will be taking part in the strikes. Bus services in Sydney’s Inner West and south-western suburbs will be affected, and Sydney train and NSW Trainlink Intercity services. Bus drivers in Sydney’s Inner West have stopped work from 12.01 a.m. Monday until 12.01 a.m. Tuesday, while south-west Sydney drivers will strike from 12.01 a.m. Tuesday until 12.01 a.m. Wednesday.
