Newfoundland and Labrador is lifting its COVID-19 vaccine mandate for public servants starting June 1, the province says.
The province’s health department said in a release on May 26, that the removal of the vaccine mandate applies not only to provincial government employees but also to those “working with vulnerable populations.”
This includes sectors such as personal care homes, assisted living facilities, home care, private health clinics, private schools, post-secondary institutions, fire departments, ambulance providers, businesses employing regulated health professionals, and organizations providing child care services.
