The U.S. Navy has identified a flight lieutenant who was killed in a fighter jet crash during a routine training mission in the vicinity of Trona, California, last week.
Naval Air Force Pacific said in a statement that the F/A-18E Super Hornet fighter jet of Lt. Richard Bullock went down at approximately 2:30 p.m. (PDT) on June 3 in a “remote, unpopulated area” near Trona, an unincorporated Mojave Desert community in San Bernardino County.
