U.S. Senate candidate Kelly Tshibaka has hired four former senior Trump campaign staffers as part of her Republican primary challenge against Sen. Lisa Murkowski (R-Alaska). Tshibaka, a former Alaska Department of Administration commissioner, contracted National Public Affairs, a political consultancy run by Trump campaign alumni Bill Stepien, Justin Clark and Nick Trainer. Tim Murtaugh, who served as the director of communications for President Donald Trump’s 2020 campaign, has joined as Tshibaka’s communications director. Murtaugh confirmed the roster in an email to The Epoch Times. Politico was the first to report on the details. Mary Ann Pruitt of PS Strategies in Alaska joined Tshibaka as a consultant, according to Murtaugh. Pruitt worked as a media consultant for Murkowski’s 2016 campaign.
