A mother and three children have been found dead in a home in Melbourne’s northwest. Police were met at the home in Burgess Street, Tullamarine by paramedics and a man believed to be the husband and father of those found inside the property. Assistant Commissioner Robert Hill said officers cannot afford to make assumptions in the case. “These people died in suspicious circumstances,” he said. “We should not draw any conclusions at this time the fact that we have a male assisting us. We have a long way to go before we can actually understand and appreciate what occurred.” He said the man, who is understood to have made the call for help, was a person of interest and is assisting police.
