MESA, Ariz.—The culture, memories, and deep emotions of stories from ancient China were conveyed through movement and music by the artists of Shen Yun Performing Arts at the Ikeda Theater at Mesa Arts Center on the evening of Feb. 17, and they were felt deeply by Ms. Victoria Stuart.
“I feel a lot of love. I also feel a lot of hope,” said Ms. Stuart, who noticed even “a bit of despair … and they portrayed it very beautifully.”
