A Rhode Island mother has filed a lawsuit against her town’s Black, Indigenous People of Color (BIPOC) Committee for barring her from attending its meetings.
Nicole Solas, a mother of two and a senior fellow with the conservative group Independent Women’s Forum (IWF), is also the subject of a pending litigation brought against her by the National Education Association Rhode Island (NEARI), the New England state’s largest teachers union.
NEARI brought suit against Solas after she filed some 200 public record requests about her daughter’s school curriculum involving critical race theory and gender ideology.
The union is seeking a restraining order against Solas to bar her from filing any more public record requests….
