A Polish mother of seven has successfully given birth to premature quintuplets, hospital officials in southern Poland said on Feb. 14. She reportedly called the birth a “miracle.”
The two boys and three girls were born through a cesarean section on Sunday, in the pregnancy’s 28th week, at the University Hospital in Krakow.
The hospital posted on its Facebook account, as translated from Polish, that “[s]uch a pregnancy happens once in 52 million cases.”
“A miracle has happened,” said the quintuplets’ mother, Dominika Clarke, 37. “We were planning on having an eighth child but it turned out that there would be a few more children.”…
