A couple in Wyandotte, Michigan, are revitalizing an old fire station to preserve a piece of history—and turn it into a family home with a ton of character. Tony McDonald and his wife Andrea Broecker took on the project with a purpose when they decided to refurbish the building, originally built in 1929. “We want to preserve this; there is a ton of history here, a ton of memories here, and we want to turn it into something beautiful,” Tony told Fox 2 Detroit.
